The cap is necessary, BUT, I think there may be an opportunity to perhaps let each club have one Marquee player, that does not count in the teams cap! |

Long Island would be a great place for Nash except we dont have a GM with the pedigree to pull it off. You can talk about our past few years and crappy building but we have John Tavares. Any player in this league would be out of their mind not to want to play with him. Moulson, Okposo, Grabner and eventually Parenteau and Nielsen all benefitted, or will benefit from great contracts directly from playing with JT. Nash's stats would lead the league if he played with JT! |
